Osun state first lady, Mrs Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, yesterday reminded parents of the importance of investing in the education of their children.

Reminding them that education remained the most valuable legacy that could be bequeathed to a child, Mrs Adeleke urged parents not to consider any amount too much for their child education.

She was speaking at the birthday ceremony of her daughter, Angel Adeleke, who clocked 11 years old on 29 of November on the sideline of her father’s inauguration as the 6th executive governor of the state.

The new Osun first lady described child education as a sure investment that can never fail and the key to future prosperity.

She further explained that education is a legacy any parent can give to their children urging them not to toy with the life of their children for the betterment of their future.

She, however, charged the younger ones to face their students so as to be able to become successful persons in life just as she enjoined them to desist from anything capable of tarnishing their image and that of their parents saying they should always remember they are the ambassadors of the state.

However, the first lady congratulates the people of the state as they entered into the festive period saying they should be moderate cautious in their day to day activities.

Mrs Adeleke while appreciating the people of the state for the love they’ve demonstrated before, during and after the election, urged them to continue to support her husband in his bid to take the state to the promised land.
