Breaking: Six killed In Alleged Ife/Modakeke Clash
There is palpable tension in Ile-Ife and Modakeke towns on Friday over purported communal clash between the two communities.
It was gathered that agreived youths numbering about 200 from Modakeke stormed the palace of Ooni of Ife to protest the alleged killing of their persons at Toro; a suburb village in Ile-Ife.
They were said to have arrived the palace on motorbikes numbering about 150.
The development however led to the crisis which between the youths of Ile and Modakeke.
The Ooni of Ife , Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi was out of the town for a coronation programme in Warri.
CityMirrorNews gathered that six persons reportedly died during the fracas
As at time of filling this report, the state Commissioner of Police , Mr Olawale Olokode has visited the scene.
