Man Commits Suicide By Drinking Poisonous Substance In Osogbo

A middle-aged man, Samuel Marvellous, has committed suicide by drinking a suspected poisonous substance, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The incident, according to CityMirrorNews correspondent, threw the residents of Isale Aro in Osogbo, where the deceased was sojourning before his death, into mourning.
The deceased who hailed from the Eastern part of the country was said to have consumed a poisonous substance for a reason yet unknown to anyone.
The deceased was said to have been found unconscious in his apartment, located opposite OSSCO Secondary School, Isale Aro, on Sunday November 7, by his co-tenants, who later rushed him to a nearby hospital.
All effort to rescue him, however, proved abortive, as he later gave up the ghost this morning (Monday)
One of the tenants who pleaded anonymity confirmed the incident to CityMirrorNews correspondent.
He said Samuel Marvellous lost his life to suicide for a reason best known to him
“He was said to have drunk a substance suspected to be sniper and was rushed to a nearby hospital on Sunday.
“All efforts to rescue him proved abortive as he later gave up the ghost this morning, Monday,Nov 8.
“Marvellous death is unfortunate. Marvellous was an hardworking. He can do any legal work to survive. His death is unfortunate.
“May his Soul find rest, Amen.” the tenant prayed
