Osun Deputy Chief Whip Congratulates Speaker Owoeye On His Birthday
The Deputy Chief Whip of Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Gbenga Ogunkanmi has congratulated the Speaker of the Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye on his birthday.
Hon. Ogunkanmi saluted Owoeye for his courage, forthrightness and diligence in providing exemplary and broadminded leadership for the parliament.
He extolled the celebrator for being a pathfinder in the party, APC as well as his depth of wisdom in solving problems.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Monday, the lawmaker described the Speaker as an insipration of great political leadership in Osun.
Ogunkanmi said “Hon. Timothy Owoeye is a great Leader in his ability to look beyond religious, ethnic and political stereotyping, embracing the reality of Osun and Nigeria as one entity, and extending his warmth, acumen and experience to other parts of the state, particularly in difficult times like the current struggle against COVID-19.
“The State of Osun House of Assembly has continued to enjoy unflinching support from this focused astute administrator, grassroot politician and great philanthropist representing Ilesa East State constituency.
“Your excellent leadership strides as the head of the legislature in Osun is one of the things that keeps APC stronger in our state which we believe you will also do at the if given a chance to work even beyond this state.”
The lawmaker representating Ayedire State constituency in the state parliament prayed God to grant the Speaker more years with strength and wisdom to be of service for the continued growth and development of the state of the virtuous.
