Cleric Urges PMB To Keep His Promise On Setting Up Inclusive Government

Professor Sabit Ariyo Olagoke has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari over his promise to set up an inclusive government of national unity.
Olagoke gave the commendation in Ibadan in his reaction to political trends in the country .
The Islamic Cleric who is the Founder of Shafaudeen In Islam World wide posited that the only path to the greatness of Nigeria is an inclusive government where technocrats from across all political parties would be brought together to serve their country and move the nation forward.
He was of the view that the opinion that only card carrying party members should be brought into President Buhari’s government stressing that experts from other parties in the government as was done by former President Olusegun Obasanjo would forge unity and douse tension.
The Justice of Peace added “If it is well and divinely handled ,an inclusive government will be all encompassing and those engaged will see themselves as stakeholders in the governance of the country and will not want the confidence seen in them betrayed,he added
The renowned Preacher commended the INEC Chairman for improving on the Saturday’s election despite pockets of violence and death in some parts of the country.
He condemned those involved in the death of a member of House of Representatives from Lagelu Federal constituency,Hon Temitope Olatoye aka Sugar pointing out that politics should not be a matter of life or death.
“My prayer is that the election should be conclusive.All those behind unnecessary violence should be arrested and prosecuted and those found guilty should be punished to serve as deterrent to others,he further recommended.
