Oyo PDP Exco:We Stand By Abuja Resolution-Ogunlade

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Basorun Sunday Ogunlade has called on the warring leaders of the party in the state to think about the suffering of the teaming masses in the state who are looking at the party as their saviour to deliver them from the tyranny of the present administration.

“We should all keep our individual personal ambition and work harmoniously in order to flush out the present administration from the state level.

Ogunlade made the call in a press statement from Oyo town tilted “Oyo PDP Exco:We stand by the Abuja Resolution”.

He pointed out that fairness,equity as well as the constitution of the party should always be the guideline in any decisions to be taken stressing that any decisions to the contrary would be inimical to the success of the party.

The party chieftain frowned at an attempt by some leaders in the state to distort the truth concerning the recommendation by the erstwhile National party  caretaker committee on the harmonised Oyo state Executive commmittee.

“The recommendation was presented to a 10 man delegation from the two groups from Oyo State and it was unanimously adopted by us.It is very annoying that all the efforts and good intention of our national chairman on this matter is being politicized ,he alleged.

Ogulade recalled that the National chairman asked the delegation iffrom any of the two groups  could deliver  the state alone to which they denied adding ,”it was theteafter that the  Deputy NationlNational Chairman South presented the recommendation handed over by the caretaker committee and it was feely adopted”

He explained that the recommendation asked for the redistribution of the State Exco in the spirit  oneness,fairness  ,equity and justice as well as sharing.

Principal offices between the two groups in such a way as Chairman and SecretarySecretary should not be taken by the same group.
