Otedola Bridge : Osun Finance Commissioner, Oyebamiji Commiserates With Victims’Families

A leading gubernatorial aspirant under the banner of All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Bola Oyebamiji has joined millions of Nigerians to commiserate with those who lost their loved ones in the Lagos inferno, which involved a petrol tanker at the popular Otedola bridge along Lagos -Ibadan express road.
Oyebamiji, who doubled as commissioner for Finance in Osun State described the fire incident as a National tragedy, as he prayed for the repose of souls of victims, and the requisite fortitude to bear the irreparable loss by their families.
According to a release signed by the aspirant, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo, he described the incident as traumatic and shocking.
He therefore commended the various government agencies and other good-spirited Nigerians for their immediate responses at putting out the fire.
“Their bravery and sacrifice will live on in the hearts of the Nigerians.”
The Osun Governorship hopeful called on government at all levels to set out policies that appropriately address issues that tend to threaten societal peace and existence.
“I wish the families of those individuals that lost their lives ones in the unfortunate incident along Lagos-Ibadan express road, may the good Lord comfort them and give them permanent succour.
“ Obviously, Nigerians will always remember the stressful night and day that ended so tragically.”
