Easter: Ayo Asalu Felicitates With Christians, Charges Them To Emulate Christ’s Sacrifice

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Asalu Ayodele David has felicitated with Christians globally on the celebration of Easter, urging them to emulate Jesus Christ by making sacrifices that will advance the course of development in our dear nation (Nigeria).

In an Easter message personally signed and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Sunday, the Ejigbo-born politician said that Easter exemplifies the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus Christ to save mankind, noting that as individuals, Christians must take into consideration the welfare of others.

David who is an aspirant to the House of Representatives in Ede South/Ede North/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency under the platform of PDP come 2019 said he rejoiced with his Christian fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters as they witness another Easter celebrations.

He called on Christians globally especially Nigeria and Osun State in particular to re-dedicate themselves to the service for betterment to mankind and humanity despite the hurdles and current hardship in the State as they reflect on the ideals of Easter celebration.

The Special Adviser to the Speaker House of Representatives on Students Parliamentary Matters, however assured the people of his Constituency that the era of proper accountability and effective representation at the National Assembly is in earnest

He furthered explained that his aspiration is to defend the interests of the people of Ede Federal Constituency and ensure that the people enjoy all-inclusive representation at the National Assembly through his reign.

He concluded that Easter is a period of fresh beginning, forgiveness, love and friendship, and urged the privileged to reach out to the less privileged as everyone works to deepen the culture of true Christianity.
