Osun PDP Crisis Deepens As Adagunodo’s Faction Rejects Makarfi’s Harmonization Template
The crisis rocking the Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday took another dimension as a factional group of the Party rejected the local government harmonization template released by the National Caretaker committee of the party in Abuja to the state.
The group made their stance known during an emergency meeting held at their state Secretariat along power line,Osogbo.
Speaking through Mr Niyi Owolade, the group said the template released is not proportional to the strength of the group as reflected in the INEC authenticated ward congress result held few weeks ago.
They demanded Congress into the offices at the local governments level and warned the National Caretaker committee of the party against sending a committee for local government affirmation in the state.
It will be recalled that the two groups led by Adagunodo and Faforiji had last week been invited to the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja to discuss the harmonization template for all the 30 local governments in the state
