7th Anniversary: Osun NUJ Congratulates Aregbesola

Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun state council has congratulated Osun state governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on his 7th anniversary in office.

The Union, in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Abiodun Olalere and Secretary, Boladale Bamigbola said in the last seven years, Governor Aregbesola has remained very faithful to the tenets of pre election promises as contained in his Green Book.

NUJ noted that despite a myriad of challenges the administration had to contend with, it has managed to visibly transform the state, through total refurbishment of social infrastructure.

According to the Union, with the giants footprints of Aregbesola’s administration legibly etched on the corporate image of the state, the state now has a benchmark with which to judge the performance of its future leaders.

While urging the Governor not to relax but to finish strongly the homeward journey of the race, NUJ implored him to continue to place high premium on the welfare of Journalists to enable them remain reliable partners of his administration.
