Eid-el-Fitr: Akeredolu Urges Muslims To Shun Divisive Tendencies

Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has urged Muslims to shun all divisive tendencies and collectively work for the unity of Nigeria.
Akeredolu gave the disclosure in his Eid-el-Fitri message and rejoiced with muslim faithful in the state on the successful completion of the 2017 Ramadan.
He encouraged Muslims to put into practice all the lessons learnt from the annual religious exercise.
The Governor who appreciated the unflinching support of the muslim
community to his administration, urged them to continue their support
for the state government.
He warned Muslims against divisive tendencies and actions that are
capable of causing mistrust among the citizenry.
Also, Governor Akeredolu pleaded with muslims in the state to embrace
the virtues of love and sacrifice in their day to day activities.
He however assured that his government would continue to serve the people of the state irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliation.
