State Chairman of the PDP, Honourable Soji Adagunodo stated this in Iwo, at a get together party organized by a PDP Senatorial aspirant for Osun West Senatorial District, Honourable Lukman Mudashir to celebrate this year Eid El Kabir.
Adagunodo who stated that nobody could assume the position of authority without the power of God, said anyone whose administration or position is inimical to human development and making the people to suffer is working against the interest of God.

Decrying the loathsome state of Nigeria’s economy and that of Osun state in particular, Adagunodo said the APC led government at federal and state levels has demonstrated high sense of incompetency to govern and manage the country’s resources.
The PDP chairman expressed the readiness of the party to unseat the APC both at the federal and the state level to restructuring the country’s economy.
He said: “I want people to know that it is God that puts people in power; either you are a king or you are the head of government. But in a situation whereby your enthronement does not  benefit the people, that means you are working against the God’s interest.
“I believe that this regime is working against the interest of God and God is not happy with them, and I am very sure God will change them for us.”
“By the special grace of God, we are going to unseat the APC, we will bring a government that would be friendly to the people and economic situation of the masses. We will produce a governor who will be concerned about the welfare of the citizens”.
Explaining the party preparations toward ensuring victory in the 2018 gubernatorial election in Osun, the state Adagunodo said the PDP has commenced ward-to-ward meeting, through which members of the party were being sensitized on the need for them to remain resolute so as to be able to wrestle power from APC.
Adagunodo added: “We are going to change the change for better; we have started meeting our party members from one ward to another on the need for them to remain resolute. We are going to unseat the APC by God grace; Osun people are tired of a nonperforming government.
“We have five programmes that we line up, we are moving round now and after the meeting we are going to execute those programmes.
“The programme is to mobilize and sensitize the people of the state on what the present government has achieved within the eight years. They themselves will judge; they have the score card to know whether the government is responsive to their yearning or not.”
Commending Honorable Mudashir for organizing the event, Adagunodo said the programme had afforded him the opportunity to meet members of PDP in Iwo and its environs.
He expressed optimism that the party would liberate the people of the state from the ‘shackle of misrule’ of the APC in the state.
Adagunodo, therefore, enjoined the people of the state to remain focus and determined, saying PDP is the only hope on which a common man on the street relies on.
He described Mudashir as a worthy son of Iwo who believes in lifting up the less-privilege to stardom.
In his earlier address, Mudashir gave thank to almighty Allah who spares their lives to witness this year Eid el Kabir, saying there was need for each and every one them to learn from the lession which the festival teaches.
Mudashir, a senatorial aspirant during the coming general election, commended members of the opposition party for their perseverance and endurance, promising that he would continue to work assiduously to see to the victory of the part in the coming elections.
