In his speech, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo described the institution as a purposeful university. He therefore called on the graduands to be good ambassadors of the university.
Pledging his support for the university, the newly installed Chancellor of the university, General T. Y Danjuma (rtd) called on all and sundry to strive hard in their support for the university in making it an outstanding citadel of learning.
Earlier in his speech, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Debo Adeyewa enumerated the various achievements of the university in the field of learning, research and community service.
