Court Begins Trial Of Suspected Killers Of Kwara Hotelier
The High Court in Kwara State has begun the trail of two suspects linked to the death of the Managing Director of Water View Hotel.
The suspects were Joy Adanma Joseph (22) and her friend, Favour David (23).
They pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them in the court.
According to the charge sheet, they were accused of culpable homicide punishable with death under section 97, 221 of the Penal Code.
The sheet also accused them of conspiring to rob the deceased while armed with knives, of his Infinix Handset among others.
Attorney General of Kwara State, Senior Ibrahim Sulyman and Issa Zakari, a chief state counsel, represented the State, while the suspects were represented by John Mayokun Dada.
Hoever, Justice Haleema Saleeman adjourned the case till April 17, 2024.
