Court Sentences 26-Year-Old Man To Three Months Imprisonment For Swindling POS Operator
A 26-year-old man, Muhammed Ibrahim has been sentenced to three months imprisonment for swinging Point of Sale (POS) of N28,0000.
An Area Court in Jos on Monday convict and sentenced Ibrahim after he pleaded guilty to the crime.
The convict after he pleaded guilty to the crime begged the court for leniency.
The Judge , Mr Shawomi Bokkos sentenced Ibrahim to three months imprisonment or pay an option of a N10,000 fine
He also ordered the convict to pay N35,000 as compensation to the complainant.
Earlier, the police prosecutor, Insp Ibrahim Gokwat, told the court that the case was reported at the Jos ”C” division police station on May 2 by the POS operator, Mr Shaibu Mohammed.
