Akume Resumes At Aso Villa SGF Office
Former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, George Akume has assumed duty as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The President, Bola Tinubu in a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum last Friday announced Akume as the SGF and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff.
However, on Wednesday morning, the President administered the Oath of Office on Akume.
Akume, subsequently headed to his office located at the Three Arms Zone in Abuja.
He arrived at exactly 3:30 pm and was ushered in with a performance from a local band.
Akume was received by staff, directors, and permanent secretaries in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
