According to the group, Oyetola’s victory at the tribunal is a well deserved one; as it has pointed to the fact that no matter how far lies have gone the truth shall one day conveniently overtake it.

Recall that Election Petition Tribunal had on Friday declared Gboyega Oyetola as the winner of the July 16, 2022 gubernatorial election and ordered the withdrawal of the certificate of return as Governor issued to Senator Ademola Adeleke by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.

However ,there has been aggregate and pockets of violence that have trailed the Tribunal judgement as PDP members in Osogbo, Ikire, Ilesa and Ede have been staging protests across the State .

Reacting ,the APC group appealed to the PDP to approach the courts if aggrieved instead of taking laws into their hands; killing and maiming innocent citizens. They mentioned that three people have been confirmed killed with properties worth millions of Naira damaged.

According to the statement, anybody who is aggrieved should go to court and not resolving to threat to public peace .

“Presidential Election is close and we don’t want anything that will heat up the polity. Judgment has been delivered, parties who are not satisfy should please go back to court to air their grievances ‘.

” There is room for appeal ,so there should not be any form of crisis arising from the judgement because Tribunal is not the final arbiter “.
