A top senior pastor  of the Deeper Life Bible Church, whose name could not be confirmed as at the time of filing this report, has been reportedly kidnapped in his home in Okene, Kogi State, with the kidnappers demanding the sum of N10 million before he can be freed.

The pastor, who has reportedly served in various capacities in Kogi, Plateau, Abuja as well as other African countries for the church, was with members of his family on Monday evening when some unidentified gunmen stormed his home and abducted him, Leadership reported.

According to a source who spoke to the paper under condition of anonymity, the preacher had just returned from the church’s weekly Monday Bible Study and was with his son who had recently got married when he was whisked away by the men.

The church has also been contacted and many members of the congregation are believed to be offering prayers for the safe return of the respected preacher.
