Omoworare U-15 Football Championship kicks Off Today, Obokun FA Tackles Excel FA At Opening Match

The maiden edition of the Under 15 Omoworare football competition starts on Monday 24th October, 2022 at the newly constructed Ife Mini Stadium, Erefe, Ondo Road, Ile-Ife from 2pm.

The Under 15 competition will feature 8 football teams with 4 from Ile-Ife, a team from Modakeke Ife a team from Osogbo and another each from Ilesa and Ibokun respectively.

Speaking at the tournament unveiling and teams fixtures drawing exercise. Which for the first round pitches Obokun FA against Excel FA as the opener on Monday and to be followed by other matches, Chairman of the Organizing committee, Coach Bode Babalola assured all participating teams of fair play, balanced officiating and atmosphere for quality football.

Knight FA versus Prime Star FA, is the next match in the fixtures for same Monday by 4pm while the remaining matches of the tournament slated Tuesday 25th October 2022 will be Successful FA locking horn with ALO FA, as PJT FA draws Success FA in the final match of that round

The football competition is a part of activities marking official commissioning of the stadium which is fused in the birthday activities of Senator Babajide Omoworare l, the facilitator of the stadium project whose birthday is 31st of October he mentioned this stadium and that by the Grace of God it will be ready before his next birthday and here we are one year after.
