APC Clears Ex-Brigadier General To Contest For Osun West Senatorial Seat
The National Screening Committee for Senatorial aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully cleared Brigadier General Lekan Adeniran (Retired) for the Party’s Primaries for the Osun West Senatorial Election in Osun State.
Addressing Newsmen after the screening exercise which took place in Abuja, the Senatorial Aspirant commended the party for the organized approach adopted for the screening exercise.
Brigadier General Adeniran (Retired) also appreciated his supporters for their unflinching support for standing firm by him since the beginning of his political journey till date, while he also admonished to remain firm as the primary draws nearer.
He equally expressed gratitude to all APC leaders in Osun State and across the ten local governments in Osun West Senatorial District that has been of immense help before, during and after the screening exercise.
The Asamu born politician appealed to delegates to make him candidate of the party with their votes during the primary, assuring them that it would truly be a fresh breath to the party members an people of the Senatorial District.
Brigadier General Adeniran (Retired) called on the people of the area to return Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for a second term in office so that the good work he is doing across the state can continue unhindered.
In his words, “The support given to me these past few months has given me so much courage and energy to forge ahead and I am indeed grateful to the people for staying true to this noble course, I am rest assured that we shall sing a victory song after the primary polls come May 25.”
