Eid-el Fitri: Rep Bamidele Salam Rejoices With Muslims, Urges Adherence To Sunnah Of Prophet

As Muslims celebrate this year’s eid-el-Fitri, the Lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rep Bamidele Salam has enjoined islamic faithful to retain the spirit of love, sacrifice and self discipline imbibed the last 30 days of the holy month of ramadan.

In a felicitation message to muslims in the spirit of the Sallah , Bamidele Salam further urged muslims to use the occasion of the celebrations to offer prayers on challenges of the moment facing almost every household in the country and also be guided by the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) in all their future endeavours.

Rep Bamidele Salam also called on religious and community leaders in the federal constituency to inculcate the teachings of this season to spread message of love and peaceful cohabitation amongst residents of the federal constituency, to douse tensions of hate and war mongering currently prevalent in the country.

“As leaders, we must deploy powers and privileges embedded in our positions in the society to preach peace, joy and calmness accompanying the sighting of the moon at the end of Ramadan, and reinforce peace and harmony in our nation”

” True love and Sacrifices devoid of discrimination of race, color, faith, class or tongue is the hallmark of all spiritual teachings is the reason why the world will win against hate and fear.
