Oluwo Marking 5th Anniversary With The Immobile Aged, Distributes Cash
As part of the activities marking the 5th anniversary of the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, is compound-to-compound visitation of his majesty to identify and distribute money for the immobile aged men and women under their respective roof.
Oba Akanbi has the conviction that responsible Monarch is for all and sundry, and as such, the dividends of traditional governance be extended to aged who could not move to feel the physical presence of a king.
According to him “This is is not my first time of visiting the immobile aged under their respective roof. I’ve done it severally but this is specially designed as part of the activities marking my 5th anniversary on the throne of my forefathers as the paramount ruler of Iwoland”
“In one of my recent visitations, there was an old woman who was indoor for donkey years and said he never seen a king for donkey years”
“The purpose of the visitation is not to show up but to extend traditional governance to everyone irrespective of individual status. No reasonable position is not without responsibilities. One of my happiness as a royal father is seeing my subjects happiness. I’m happy when they are happy. I feel fulfilled. The essence of life is to positively affects others”
“I’m not rich but wealthy. I’ve made a promise to holistically and diligently serve my subjects with everything. I’m an unrepentant progressive king with difference”
“No section of my community is left untouched. I’ve developed many enemies because I visit the aged, immobile men and women under their roofs. Many claim a first class traditional ruler don’t visit Compound. Such narrative is not in my own monarchical system. I’m doing it and will continue to identify with my people”
“My first five years on the throne is just a foundational base for better progressive years. I’ve the trust of God to lead a promising city of Iwo. Be assured, Iwo will lead”
