Osun D-Gov, Alabi Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Late APC Ward Youth Leader
Deputy Governor of Osun, Mr Benedict Alabi, on Saturday visited the residence of Late Muniru Lateef, who was until his death the APC youth leader, Ward 07 in Irewole local government, Ikire, to commiserate with the bereaved family.
Lateef passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, after a brief illness.
The Deputy Governor, who was received by the widows of the late youth leader and some family members at their residence located around Fiditi area, Ikire, prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul .
He, however expressed sadness over the death of Lateef, as he described him as very humble and patriotic, with unflinching loyalty.
Alabi consoled the family and admonished them to take solace in the reality of human existence, in which death remains inevitable and compulsory end of every mortal .
He said :” For what I know about the deceased within the short period of our engagement and interactions, I can confidently say that he was very humble, loyal and committed to the cause of the youth in the party.
“I believe that God has a reason for taking him away at this time, since nothing happens without His will”, Alabi stated.
He then promised to support the family in any way he can, and prayed for the immediate family to enjoy special grace of God and carry on with courage .
