COVID-19: Popular Osogbo Phones Dealer, Adex Distributes Face Masks To Residents

Adeolu Agboola, the Chief Executive Officer, Adex Ventures, on Thursday distributed face masks to residents of Osogbo, the capital of Osun as part of his cooperate social responsibility in containing the spread of coronavirus in the state.

CityMirrorNews reports that Governor Gboyega Oyetola had ordered the compulsory use of face masks for residents of the state to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Agboola distributed the masks at Adex Ventures Headquarters, Odiolowo, Olaiya area , Osogbo to residents, majority of whom are his customers and other business owners in the area .

The CEO Adex Ventures while distributing the face about to about 4000 people, said that the initiative was to complement the efforts of the state government in the fight against the pandemic.

He also said that residents of the Osogbo needed to be aware that the coronavirus existed and should take preventive measures against it.

“The distribution of the face masks is to complement the efforts of the state government in containing the spread of coronavirus pandemic in our state.

“I think this is little way we can contribute our own quota towards ensuring that the residents of the state and our customers staying safe.

“We care for our customers and residents living around Olaiya , where our office is situated and the entire people of Osogbo and Osun state as a whole.

“This is also to tell residents that the COVID-19 exists and one of the preventive and protective measures is to always put on the face masks,” he said.

Agboola urged residents to adhere strictly to all government precautionary measures such as regular hand washing, keeping social distance and avoiding hand shaking and hugging among others.
