Breaking: APC Obaseki Wins Edo Gov Election
The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Godwin Obaseki has won the Wednesday September 28, gubernatorial election in the state.
While the elections results were still be announced officially by the Collation Officers, available results indicated that Obaseki won in 15 local government with 229, 209 votes.
According to the results at the disposal of CityMirrorNews, Obaseki won in 15 local government while Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu won in three local governments.
Ize-Iyamu polled 186, 694 votes.
The local government won by Obaseki are: Etsako West, Akoko Edo, Egor, Estako Central, Estako East, Igueben, Ikpoba-Okha, Oredo, Ovia North, Ovia South, Owan East, Owan West and three others.
We are waiting for the official announcement of the winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
