Isawumi and his accomplices allegedly broke the windscreen of the vehicle and unleashed serious machete and axe cuts on it.

Stating that the accused persons committed the offence on December 20, 2015 around 11am, the charge sheet maintained that they had committed offences contrary to and punishable under Sections 351, 451 and 517 of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Vol. II Law of Osun state.

But the suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy, unlawful damage and assault proffered against them.

Defence counsel, Mr O.N Babatunde applied for the bail of the accused persons in the most liberal term, arguing that the allegations against the suspects carried no capital punishment that might deny them their right to bail.

Police prosecutor, Inspector John Idoko did not oppose the bail application.

The presiding magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko released the accused persons on bail in the sum of N50, 000 and two sureties with affidavit of means.

Aluko adjourned the case till November 1, 2016 for consolidation.
