AVILA Partners Oranmiyan Group For Liberation Of Youths Against Unemployment

A Pan -African Organization, African Visionary Leaders Association (AVILA), has revealed its plans to partner with Oranmiyan group in its bid to develop youths morally, ideologically to be self reliant.
The founder and National Coordinator of the group, Asiwaju Akin Akinola stated this during a courtesy visit to Oranmiyan headquarters in Osogbo, Osun state capital.
Akinola who commended the roles Oranmiyan has been playing in the development of the state said African Visionary Leaders Association is ready to work in collaboration with the group in its efforts to take Nigerian youths out of the current predicament occasioned by unemployment.
Describing leader of Oranmiyan group as patriotic, visionary and am individual who according to him had worked seriously for peace, progress and development of the state and the country at large, Akinola admitted that there is the need for AVILA to work in collaboration with such patriotic leaders.
According to him” Nation building is a collective responsibility and we deemed it necessary to partner with Oranmiyan Group because of the patriotic nature of its leaders.
“The current Director General of Oranmiyan, Hon Olajide Sadiq is a wonderful man, coolheaded, intelligent and hardworking.
“We, members of African Visionary Leaders Association came to Osun to congratulate him on the occasion of his golden age and to also show our gratitude for their unflinching loyalty even after the absence of its founder, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola from the state.
Describing Oranmiyan’s symbol, Aregbesola as a phenomena, Akinola said, the development Aregbesola brought to the state within the space of eight years was unprecedented.
According to Akinola, “the founder of Oranmiyan, Ogbeni Aregbesola in his first hundred days in office employed four thousand youths , he constructed massive roads across the nooks and corners of the state, free meals for pupils in all the public schools, building of ultra modern schools among other laudable achievements.
He described Aregbesola’s ministerial nomination as well deserved one, saying his wealth of experience will enable him perform extraordinarily.
Commenting on the security challenges currently facing the country, Akinola attributed the menace to problem of unemployment among the youth.
He noted that, many youth resorted into criminal activities because of lack of job, he added that lack of capital has hindered thousand of youths from turning their ideas into cash and has turned many into jobless youths while many graduates resort to internet frauds.
”I noticed a lot people have one business idea or the other, but the vision is not there because they lack support. There is nothing wrong with having a business idea, but there is something we call foundation and that’s the vision. It simply means you have a roadmap to where you are going and you have a driving force propelling you there”.
Speaking, Hon Olajide Sadiq who expressed happiness with the decision of the leadership of AVILA said Oranmiyan group would continue to work for the interest of the state and the nation in general.
