OYHA 2019: Newly Elected Members Pledges Adequate Representation

Barely two days after the Saturday March 9 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Oyo state, the newly elected member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mr Ayotunde Fatokun has assured the people of Akinyele constituency 1 of proper representation at Oyo Assembly.
The Honourable Elect stated this in a message made available to journalists on his victory at the just concluded polls.
According to Hon Fatokun, the trust bestowed on him through their votes would not be taken for granted.
He explained that the outcome of Saturday March 9 elections was the beginning of new dawn in political landscape of Akinyele local government and Oyo state.
The young vibrant Ayo Fatokun said issues pertaining to development of youths will be given utmost priority through effective legislation.
He appreciated the people of Akinyele 1 constituency for their support given to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, which necessitated the success recorded in the poll.
He equally lauded the struggle of members of PDP at ensuring remarkable achievement for the party.
“No victor, No vanquished as the progress of this constituency will always be paramount in my heart “. He added
Hon Fatokun also congratulated the Governor- Elect, Egnr Seyi Makinde on his victory at the poll adding that all the promises made would be fulfilled by the special grace of God.
Hon Ayo Fatokun is expected to join other 25 members of the PDP, 5 members of All Progressives Congress, APC, and one member of Action Democratic Party, ADP, to make the 32 legislators of 9th Oyo Assembly.
