My Commitment To PDP’s Victory Non-Negotiable – Ogunbiyi
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has declared that his commitment to the victory of the party in the coming polls is total and non-negotiable.
This was contained in a statement by his Press Secretary, Ismail Afolabi.
In the said statement which was made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, the state capital, on Monday, the PDP Chieftain said that he has no pact with or intend to back any candidates in the polls, other than those of PDP.
He affirmed that his commitment to PDP’s victory at all levels is absolute and urged his supporters and the people of the state to discountenance rumour linking him with candidates of other political parties.
“A vote for PDP is a vote for a better Nigeria. Defy intimidation. Vote Atiku/Obi. Vote PDP at all levels and let us get our beloved nation working again,” he reiterated.
Ogunbiyi also charged his supporters and PDP faithful in the state to frustrate attempts by “agents of doom” to cause disaffection in the party, saying that his allegiance to the PDP is firm and unadulterated.
“Countdown to the polls, quite right, a lot is going on in Osun and Nigeria at large. On our path, we are fully articulate and committed to the success of PDP at all levels. Not deterred by any conspiracy against us at all quarters combined. Vengeance is God’s job, not ours, ” he concluded.
