Police Arraign Man For Allegedly Destroying Properties Of Osun House Of Assembly

Osun State Police command, on Monday arraigned before a Magistrate court sitting in osogbo, a 28 year old man, Ifeanyi Eze, for allegedly destroying some properties of the state house of Assembly, Osogbo Osun state.
The police prosecutor, had Oladoye Joshua told the court that the accused with others at large committed the offence between 12 and 13 of August 2018 at the House of Assembly.
Joshual further explained that the suspect unlawfully damaged three Toyota haice buses side glasses worth N150,000 and on the same day, time and place stole three brain boxes of a coaster bus and two hummer buses which also worth #530,000.
Joshua stated that the accused person stole five Hummer buses brain boxes, two full lights, fork light, side mirrors, car stereotype, A/C verbs, side relays and fuse of Nisaan Infinity Jeep,belonging to one Mr Lasisi Kasimu Ishola and all valued #1,550,000.
He said “the accused person with others at large on the same day at ogoluwa area also damaged three Hummer buses value yet unknown of Lasisi Kasimu Ishola.
Other properties the accused person with others at large on the 24 August 2018,damaged involved three Lexus jeep valued #350,000 and also stole five side mirrors, two stainness pads, eight iron lining crones and eight rubber crones, properties belonging to one Kareem Babatunde and Ajayi AdeshinaI Motors and all valued #350,000.
Joshua added the accused person committed the offence contrary to section 383(1), 451,516 and punishable under section 390(9)(10A) of the criminal code cap 34,vol. II, Laws of Osun state of Nigeria 2002.
The accused person pleaded not guilty of the charges leveled against him and his counsel, Barrister A. O Emmanuel prayed the court to grant him bail in the most liberal terms.
The Magistrate, Fatima Sodamade granted the accused person bail of #2,000,000 with one surety in the like sum, and the surety to swear to affidavit of means and provide three passport photograph.
She added that the surety must be a civil servant of the state of low salary grade not below grade 15 and the address of the surety must be verified by police.
The case was later adjourned till November 26, 2018 for hearing.
