CVR: You stand disenfranchised if you Fail To Register, K-Rad Rallies Osun Residents
The leading gubernatorial aspirant in the State of Osun on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ‘Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-Rad), has called on all residents of the State who are of voting age but who have not previously registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to take a positive advantage of the public holiday declared by the State Government of Osun in trooping out en masse on Monday April 16, 2018 and ensure that they are all duly registered.
“The task of building a truly prosperous Osun is a collective one. No electorally eligible citizen who refuses to vote, will have the moral right to later complain that he or she is misgoverned”, Adegoke advised.
“‘I therefore passionately call on my good people of Osun who are 18 years old and above but who have not registered with INEC to utilise the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration(CVR) by INEC and the holiday granted today Monday April 16, 2018 by the state government, to do so”, he admonished.
The frontline lawyer also used the opportunity to commend the electoral body for its tireless efforts in deepening the culture of popular participation in the nation’s political process.
