In Osun: 5 Suspected Kidnappers Remanded In Prison

The Osun State Police Command, has arraigned five suspects before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for allegedly involved in armed robbery and kidnapping in the state.
The accused persons are: Ojo Ogunyemi, 28, Adeniyi Kolawole, 30, Adeoye Michael, 30, Olayiwola Ajibola, 39 and Koko Kayode.
The accused persons were said to have kidnapped one Adeyeye Adeniran.
The police prosecutor, Mustapha Tajudeen, had earlier told the court that, the accused persons conspired on 23rd August, 2017 at Bolorunduro Area, Ilesa to commit the offense.
Tajudeen added that, the accused persons stole Toyota Corolla with Registration Number AAA-838-DY valued N1.8m; recharge card N5,000, generator N100,000, phones N145,000, Cash of N200,000 total valued N2,250,000 property of Adedayo Julianah.
He said the offense contravened to Sections 4, 6(b) and punishable under Sections 1(2), 509 of the Criminal Code CAP 34 VOL. II, Laws of Osun State, Nigeria, 2003.
Their plea were not taken and their counsel, A. Olawole thereby, humbly applied for their bail.
In her ruling, Magistrate Fatimah Sodamade turned down the bail application and ordered them to be remanded in Ilesa prison custody pending the information filed against them at High Court.
Fatimah, thereafter adjourned the case till October 6, 2017 for hearing.
