APC Youth Network West Africa Endorses Basiru For Re-Election As National Secretary

APC Youth Network West Africa (formerly APC Youth Wing West Africa) has declared its full support for the re-election of Dr Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the forthcoming National Convention.

This endorsement, according to the members of the Youth Network reflects their firm belief in his proven leadership capacity, administrative competence, and unwavering commitment to strengthening the institutional structure and unity of the Party.

The group said, Senator Basiru’s tenure as National Secretary has been defined by consistency, discipline, and a deep understanding of party administration, adding that his contributions have played a critical role in enhancing internal coordination, reinforcing party structures, and sustaining organizational stability across all levels.

As a youth-driven network committed to progressive governance and inclusive political participation, the group emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership—particularly at a time when strategic consolidation remains vital to the Party’s future.

Speaking on the endorsement, Hon. Gideon Olatunde Igbasan, Director-General of APC Youth Network West Africa, who also serves as the West Africa Coordinator for the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) initiative and West Africa Director of the City Boy Movement, stated:
