Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State, has released its official fee schedule for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session, revealing hike in tuition and administrative charges across various faculties and levels.

The new fee schedule, which covers fresh and returning students across all levels, shows that students in professional courses such as Law, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Engineering and Computing will continue to pay some of the highest fees in the institution.

Under the revised schedule, new students admitted into the Faculty of Law will pay a total of N2.93 million, while Nursing students are expected to pay N2.43 million. Medical Laboratory Science attracts N2.03 million, Physiotherapy N2.07 million, and Mechatronics Engineering N2.22 million.

Among the Social Sciences programmes, Mass Communication for 100-level students is pegged at N1.4 million, while Economics will cost N1.39 million. Computer Science students are expected to pay N1.63 million, Cyber Security N1.58 million, and Information Technology N1.56 million.

Note that a town hall meeting was held by the Vice-Chancellor with students on May 16, 2026, and the university authority informed the student body that an estimated 40% increase in school fees would take effect to cushion rising operational expenses and maintain academic standards.

The management also maintained its flexible installment payment structure, allowing students to pay 40% before first-semester resumption, 20% before first-semester examinations, and the remaining 40% balance prior to second-semester resumption.

The increase in fees has sparked mixed reactions among parents and students, with many expressing concerns over the financial burden of the increase.
