Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti, frontline politician in Osun State, former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and chieftain of the Accord Party, has congratulated Muslims in the state and the nation in general, on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message issued on Thursday, Adeoti described the end of Ramadan as a season of spiritual renewal, gratitude and reflection, urging Muslim faithful to sustain the virtues of piety, sacrifice, love and compassion imbibed during the fasting period.

He commended the Muslim Ummah in Osun and across Nigeria for their devotion, prayers and commitment throughout the 30-day spiritual exercise, noting that Ramadan teaches discipline, selflessness and submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

Adeoti also urged residents and indigenes of the state to continue to support and pray for the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, saying sustained prayers and cooperation are necessary for the continued progress, peace and development of the state.

He also appealed to the people of the state to back Governor Adeleke’s re-election bid, stressing that continuity in governance would further consolidate ongoing developmental strides across different sectors.

According to him, Eid-el-Fitri should serve as a reminder of the need for unity, peaceful coexistence and collective responsibility in building a stronger society.

The former SSG further called on citizens to remain law-abiding and committed to harmonious living, irrespective of political or religious differences.

“I congratulate all Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri. May Almighty Allah accept our fasting, prayers and sacrifices.
“I urge our people in Osun to continue supporting and praying for Governor Adeleke and his administration, as well as his re-election bid, for the overall development of our dear state,” Adeoti stated.

“May this joyous occasion bring peace, blessings and new optimism to every home. Happy Eid-el-Fitri to all Muslim faithful.”
