One Powerful Lesson I Got From Wizkid – Ayra Starr
Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr has revealed that global music star, Wizkid, taught her a powerful lesson about confidence describing him as a “leading legend” whose calm presence reshaped her understanding of self-belief.
The singer made this known during an interview on Tuesday, following her performance at the Grammy Museum, where she reflected on her experiences working with the award-winning artiste.
According to Ayra Starr, her interactions with Wizkid showed her that true confidence is not about being loud or seeking attention, but about quiet assurance and purpose.
“Wizkid is a leading legend. We all know that. My first time working with him, I just couldn’t believe it and I was myself. But the second time, he was very calm, cool, and relaxed,” she said.
The Rush crooner explained that observing Wizkid’s demeanour helped her understand that confidence does not require noise or constant validation.
“I now know that confidence isn’t noise. He made me have that understanding. He’s very present and confident in his life mission, and that made me learn a lot,” Ayra
