The President and Founder of the Royal House of Excellencies Humanitarian and Empowerment Foundation, Mr. Rasaq Abayomi Isiaka, has urged Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to continually remember the less privileged, stressing that consistent acts of kindness can significantly uplift vulnerable communities.

Mr. Rasaq made the call during the Foundation’s charity outreach in the Ifo/Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on Wednesday, December 6.

Speaking through the International Coordinator, Iyalode Abosede Moradeke, Mr. Isiaka noted that the international humanitarian NGO, created to connect Nigerians worldwide, organised the outreach to support elderly citizens, widows, persons with disabilities, and schoolchildren who struggle to meet basic needs.

“I appeal to Nigerians at home and abroad to always remember those in need, because nothing is too small or too large to give,” he said.

He added that since the Foundation’s formal registration in October 2024, it has reached thousands of beneficiaries within and outside Nigeria, with previous outreaches held in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Abuja, Taraba, and even the United Kingdom.

During the outreach, 735 residents, including schoolchildren, received various support items such as cash gifts, foodstuffs, school bags, sanitary pads, clothes, air fresheners and liquid soap.

The Foundation also presented chairs and tables to pupils to improve learning conditions, and introduced vocational training in liquid soap and air freshener production to equip residents with income-generating skills.

Reaffirming the Foundation’s mission, Mr. Rasaq said, “To meet the basic needs of the less privileged, ease suffering, and train as many people as possible in vocational skills. Together, we will create a brighter future for all.”

He expressed gratitude to Engineer Babatunde Odekunle of Otedek Investment Company for providing a warehouse to store donated items, and acknowledged the office of Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka for helping to identify genuine beneficiaries and ensuring security throughout the programme.

“We appreciate him because without a place to store these items, this outreach would not have been possible,” he added.

Mr. Rasaq further cautioned school authorities against hoarding relief items meant for students, recalling a previous incident where school bags donated by the Foundation were locked in a head teacher’s office until the state’s Department of Education intervened.

“We had a case where school bags we donated were locked in a head teacher’s office. We reported it and the Department of Education intervened. We will not tolerate that,” he warned.

He also announced that upcoming outreaches would be held in Osun and Ekiti States, while Foundation members in Canada, the United States, and the Republic of Benin prepare additional international humanitarian programmes.

Speaking at the event, International Coordinator, Iyalode Abosede Moradeke, emphasized that the Foundation is strictly humanitarian and non-political, explaining that it originally evolved from TikTok connections into a global network committed to uplifting vulnerable individuals.

“We are not political. We are just people who met on TikTok and decided to help others. Today, we have members all over the world,” she said.

She also listed past programmes, including a Ramadan (Ileya) outreach in Lagos, an Easter outreach at Agodi Correctional Centre, Ibadan, and several global charity activities held to mark the President’s birthday.

“We have done Ramadan outreach in Lagos, Easter outreach at Agodi Correctional Centre, Ibadan, and global charity events to mark the President’s birthday. Humanity is our only agenda.”

Another Foundation member, Adeniyi Fabunmi, encouraged Nigerians to embrace the culture of giving.

“Many who benefited in Oshodi, Isolo, and Ibadan are still thanking us. Giving is a blessing,” he said.

The chairs and tables donated to pupils were formally presented by traditional rulers led by the Oniwasinmi of Wasinmi, Oba Sunday Adisa Jolaosho, who praised the Foundation’s contributions to education and youth development.

The monarch offered prayers for the students and for the Foundation’s founder.

“May these children succeed in life, and may God continue to strengthen the man who has remembered them today,” he prayed.

A beneficiary, Mrs. Salmot Lawal, appreciated the gesture, saying:

“We are grateful for everything they gave us. May Almighty God uplift them.”

A student of Itori Comprehensive High School, Olaniyi Itunu, also described the support as timely and impactful.

“I am very happy about what they gave us. God bless them,” she said.
