APC Igbimo-Agba Osun mourns Passing Of Oba Famodun

The apex body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Igbimo-Agba Osun has described the passing of Owa of IGbajo, Oba Philips Adegboyega Famodun as a rude shock and the least expected.

Famodun , who was the former Chairman of APC in Osun, passed away yesterday after a brief illness at an hospital in Abuja.

Igbimo Agba Osun, in a condolence message signed by its Chairman, Chief Engr. Sola Akinwumi and made available to CityMirrorNews in Osogbo, Osun State capital posited that the sudden death of Oba Famodun who they said was of the strong pillars of the body had thrown them into a devastating mindset.

Igbimo Agba Osun while sympathizing with the deceased’s immediate family members prayed God to grant them the fortitude and grace to bear the irreparable loss.

“The news of sudden passage of Oba Philips Adegboyega Famodun,Owa of Igbajo,Osun State, came to me and the body of IGBIMO-AGBA as a rude shock and least expected at this time.

“The unfortunate death of Oba Adegboyega Famodun,Owa of Igbajo, who was one of the strong pillars of this body throws us into a devastating mindset .

“This body shares in the unquantifiable heart pains his untimely demise posed on his immediate family, extended family, Igbajo township, our Party–APC both at State and National levels.

“It is a fact that your invaluable political roles shall greately be missed by our body, IGBIMO-AGBA, Osun

“I pray to God to grant the Wife and family members he left behind the fortitude and grace to bear the irreparable loss”.
