Seye Famojuro Donates Brand New 14-Seater Bus to Owalare-in-Council

An illustrious son of Ilare, Prince Adeseye Famojuro, has donated a brand new 14-seater bus to the Owalare-in-Council.

Prince Adeseye Famojuro presented the bus to the Owalare-in-Council in the early hours of Friday, 28 November, 2025 amidst prayers, praises and encomiums by the chiefs, members of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), youths and the entire people of Ilare.

He was represented by the Chief Sukoti of Ilare, Asiwaju Oyedeji Olajubu.

While handing the bus key to the monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adejoro Otebolaku, on behalf of Prince Famojuro, Olajubu said; “One of your illustrious sons in this town, Prince Adeseye Famojuro, asked me to give the Owalare-in Council this vehicle for the use of the chiefs and service to humanity in Ilare.”

While responding, the Owalare said; “I appreciate this laudable donation to the palace; he has done well. I pray that the Lord, in His infinite mercy, will continue to bless him. No evil shall befall him.

“I want to urge other indigenes of Ilare to emulate this Prince who is committed to human and infrastructural development of Ilare.”

It will be recalled that Prince Famojuro had facilitated the employment of over 60 indigenes of Ilare in various ministries, parastatals and agencies of government in last few years.

In a similar way, Adeseye Famojuro renovated Saint Francis Catholic Church, Ilare, while he also donated a bus to the church and Methodist Church, Ilare.

He has also made some donations the Ilare Central Mosque.

CityMirrorNews reports that the ancient town of Ilase is under Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.
