Olagoke Condoles Ibadanland On Olubadan’s Passing
The spiritual head and founder of Shafaudeen-in-Islam Worldwide, Prof. Sabit Ariyo Olagoke JP, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the traditional institution and the entire Ibadan community on the passing of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
In a statement released by his media aide, Bode Akinbode, Prof. Olagoke described the late monarch as “a great man, a lover of his people, and an inimitable king” whose reign was marked by wisdom, compassion, and a genuine concern for the welfare of his people.
The renowned Islamic cleric noted that the Olubadan’s leadership style was inclusive and transformative, fostering unity and purpose among the diverse groups in Ibadanland.
Prof. Olagoke emphasized the Olubadan’s disposition to peace, harmony, and development, which earned him widespread love and acceptance.
He urged the indigenes of Ibadanland to honor the monarch’s memory by promoting the values of peace and cooperation that he championed throughout his reign.
“On behalf of Shafaudeen-in-Islam Worldwide, Prof. Olagoke commiserated with the Olubadan-in-Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), the royal families, friends, and associates of the Olubadan.
He prayed that Almighty Allah repose the soul of the monarch and grant his family the strength to bear the loss.
