The body saddled with the responsibility of conducting the election, Osun Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) had announced that the collection and submission of intention forms shall close on Saturday, August 24th, 2024.

At the OSIEC headquaters in Osogbo, the chairman of NNPP, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, commended the commissioners for being organised and accommodating.

According to him, the friendly atmosphere at OSIEC office showed that the commission is actually ready for the task ahead of them.

Odeyemi, who was received by the secretary of the commission, charged the umpire not to deviate from the present path it’s toeing, saying it’s can actually bring the change Osun people desire.

He gave the assurance that NNPP will match head to head with the ruling PDP in the February 2025 local government poll in preparation for the 2026 gubernatorial election in the state.
