APC Loses Women Leader In Oyo
The All Progressives Congress (APC) women leader in Oyo North Senatorial District, Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi, is dead.
It was gathered on Friday that Atoyebi died on Thursday.
She died in the early hours of Thursday.
Her death came, few years after the death of her father, the late Alamodu of Ago-Amodu, Oba Lawal Oyetola Adebowale.
Senator representing Oyo South on the platform of APC, Sharafadeen Alli in his reaction, described her death as a great loss.
Alli described the deceased as a dedicated and selfless leader who worked tirelessly towards the development of Oyo State as well as Nigeria.
The lawmaker in the statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, noted that the party will miss the deceased.
He said, “It is with heavy hearts that we receive the news of the passing of Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi, the APC Women Leader in Oyo North Senatorial District.
“Her demise is a great loss to our party and to the Nigerian political landscape”.
