Tinubu Will Be Nigeria’s Best President Since 1999- SWAGA

— Begins Distribution Of Palliatives In Osun, Others

The South West Agenda for 2023 Asiwaju Bola Ahamed Tinubu , SWAGA has said president Tinubu will remain the best president Nigeria will have since 1999.

Senator Dayo Adeyeye, the National Coordinator of SWAGA stated this on Tuesday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun,  during SWAGA’s distribution of palliatives to citizens of Osun, at the Ileri Oluwa Campaign Office.

Adeyeye said Tinubu had shown tremendous leadership in his first 100 days in office, noting that the president’s statement in India shows that he has the capacity to make the country great and to crush hardship.

According to him, “Nigeria fortunate will turn around positively within 2 years of President Tinubu going by his achievement in the last 100 days in Office.”

Speaking on distribution of palliatives, Adeyeye said SWAGA has made fantastic arrangements to ensure that the palliatives get across the entire South West including Kwara and Kogi State among others, saying each of the state will receive one trailer of rice.

He said the palliatives will be given to party chairmen in each of the local government who, in turn, will distribute it to the general public, not SWAGA or APC members alone.

“We are trying to let the people know that we are the political group that first started the campaign for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu since 2020 .

“We want to assure them that we have not forgotten them that we have them in mind. This is not only in Osun but throughout Nigeria.

“We have told Nigerians that We are going to need a dynamic leadership that will turn Nigeria around.

” SWAGA made that promise and we thank God we have nothing to regret making those promises.

“In the last 100 days, President Tinubu has demonstrated tremendous capacity for leadership, besides, if you listen to his statement in India, he said Nigerian has the human resources , natural resources but what we lack is leadership and he has come to offer himself.

Also speaking , Honorable Ayo Omidiran , the Coordinator of SWAGA and Tunde Ojo the convener said SWAGA is trying to pay back to the society and to say thank you for their votes and support for president Tinubu.

They stressed that the group contributed within themselves to get palliatives for their members since the federal government palliative is meant for state adding that State with PDP governors may not extend the palliatives to other party members which is why they want their members to benefit from it through SWAGA.

“You know SWAGA is a supportive group and what we are trying to show the people is that supporting someone is not just about campaigning for someone to win election 

“After winning the election, you will have to continue supporting the government in power, so that is why we see that federal government is giving out palliative to people but they are doing it through the state government. 

“We as a group knows that a lot of people will be left out, especially a state like Osun, we APC are not in government and the Federal Government palliative is through the PDP government here.

“Swaga decided that we want to make our supporters happy and the best thing is to do our own palliative, bring it to them and let them share it with own supporters too.” he said.
