Eid-el-Kabir: Let’s Make Sacrifice To Defend Our Nation- Lagbaja
As world celebrate Eid’l Adha , the Chief of Army staff, Gen Taoreed Lagbaja has felicitated Muslim faithful on the commemoration of the feast of the sacrifice.
The Chief of Army Staff in a congratulatory message made available to journalists, admonished Muslim Umah
to take time to reflect on the lessons that this feast signifies– strong faith, selfless act, obedience and total submission to the will of Allah.
The Ilobu born newly appointed Chief of Army Staff also used the festive season to congratulate Olobu of Olobu, the Royal Majesty, Oba ,Ashiru Olatoye Olaniyan 11 as well as all the Muslims adherents in the ancient community on this year Ileya festival.
Lagbaja who appreciated the people of Ilobu for show of love and prayers upon his appointment pledged to be a good ambassador of the town just as he vowed do everything within his reach to ensure that security of all and sundry envisioned in the president Bola Tinubu renewed hope for the people of the country.
He said it’s pertinent for all Nigerians to join hand with security agencies in order to re write story about the nation in the area of security so as to ensure the the security challenges become a thing of past.
He said: “Nigeria is our collective heritage, and just as Prophet Ibrahim (ASWM) and Prophet Ismael (ASWM) showed faith in Allah and adhere to His command, we must be prepared to make whatever sacrifice that is needed in advancing the process and development of our dear nation.”
