As usual, every new year comes with multiple resolutions and thinking and rethinking… let me list out some

*I won’t smoke again
*I will deal with my anger
*I must marry this year
*I must get back to school for my PhD
*I must be rich this year
*I must buy that car and must buy that house…
*I will get a new house.
*I will cut friendship with ABC or D.. Etc.

So we make personal resolutions about our lives, our businesses, our homes and we forget about our communities, our State and our country.

Every great countries in the world today was built by visionary individuals who passionately developed their various communities at a time in history which later had a heavy positive economic effect on the country as a whole.  The vision that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu had for Lagos through a designed template is what his successors especially, our pragmatic Governor Ambode is building on. Lagos that used to be the dirtiest city in the World is now the cynosure of all eyes and still ongoing.

This connotes that, when as a people, we choose to develop our various communities without any form of corruption but apt altruism, Nigeria will experience strategic cum exponential growth and National Greatness will Happen sooner than anticipated.

So as you are writing your personal resolutions for the year, I want you to as well write down your resolutions for Nigeria and your communities.

Let me share some of my own resolutions for Nigeria and my local council; Orile Agege with you

  1. I will speak the truth concerning the needed positive common sense revolution and political participation that must come to Orile Agege in the upcoming Local government election in Lagos in 2017 and in Nigeria in 2019 by the youths.
  2. I will encourage youths like myself to take charge of their destinies now or never not by violence or rudeness but through social engagement and robust alternative discussion and display of better ideas that can bring better governance to our various communities.
  3. I will start a youth development and awareness programs in my Local Government; Orile Agege and Lagos in general to mentally empower youths and as well expand their social horizon to give them better opportunities in life.
  4. I will not hesitate to stand and fight for any youth anywhere cheated by anyone in line with the tenents of democracy and the principle of progressive politics.
  5. I will be more active in working with the group of people that are working hard, day and night to protect the good legacies being laid by our progressive leaders in the South West and Nigeria as a whole.
  6. I will key more and be more loyal to the progressive politics and course because it is the best for the growth, development and liberation of our people
  7. I will continue to appreciate, celebrate and emulate the exemplary leadership traits as being exhibited by our fathers, leaders and mentors like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Governor Akinwumi Ambode and other lovers of youths in our camp.

So, my people all over the country and Orile Agege in particular,
Will you just do your own resolution and forget about the one that Nigeria and Orile Agege need you for?

Don’t just sit and do nothing! Do something for your land…

  1. Learn about your country your state, local government and share the knowledge with your friends!
  2. Prepare your minds for the type of government you desire; all Inclusive and Economically prosperous governance that will bring glaring development and growth to our Council and country
