Lagos Monarch Dies After Returning Home From Eid Ground
Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, aged 64, passed away earlier today – April 10th, 2024, marking the end of an era for the Isolo Kingdom.
The traditional ruler died shortly after returning home from the Eid prayer ground on Wednesday.
In accordance with Islamic rites, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka will be laid to rest today by 4 pm at his palace, located at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo. The entire community mourns the loss of their beloved ruler, whose legacy will forever be remembered.
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has instructed the formal announcement of the passing of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom. The Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, extends condolences to the family, friends, and subjects of the late Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III.
