Building Youths For Greater Responsibilities

Published

on

It is good to build the future for our youths, but it is better to build our youths for the future. That youths are leaders of tomorrow or today is mathematically a conditional probabilty, only youths that are fit for purpose can be leaders of either today or tomorrow.

The Leadership Training I organised for student leaders from Ife North State constituency was a success and to God be the glory. Student Leaders of Ife North origin came from various institutions of higher learning and the feedback and comments from them during and after the program are both inspiring and emotional.

African youths are really in dire need of mentorship and vision compass.

In the last 10days of this month alone, I have received invitation as Guest Speaker from four (4) different Universities within and outside Nigeria. Including Convenant University, Nigeria and the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. To rub minds with the univeristy community on diverse national and global challenges (SDG related) and suggest practical solutions.

Our continent needs to realise and fully harness the productive capacity of her youths or continue to ignore them at its own peril. For me, this is a generational assignment and I am irrevocably committed to bridging the gap and equip our greatest assets, that is our youths, for a greater and better future.

A very big thank you to all our guest speakers for their deep and thought provoking sessions. I celebrate you sirs!

We all have a great role to play if the coming generation will fulfill purpose and we must not fail them. If they should fail, then we have failed. We will not fail!

Good morning and happy friday.
