Breaking: Messi Is Gone, Barcelona President Laporta Speaks
Joan Laporta, the President of FC Barcelona, has confirmed that there will be no re-negotiation with Lionel Messi.
Laporta, in his press conference on Friday morning, noted that the decision has been made and can not be reversed.
He blamed the final rules by La Liga for the decision to let go of the “best player” in the world.
He added that Messi did all in his capacity to stay but the financial situation of the club and La Liga rules could be bent.
