We Are Poised To Further Industrialise Egboro Land – Obeisun, Adewumi Assure Elegboro
The Chairman, Timsed Group of Companies, Asiwaju Rotimi Obeisun has reiterated his commitment to seeing Egboro land develop into a business hub for the entire Ijesa land.
He noted that his Sanrot Rice Milling Plant and Fertilizer Blending Factory will soon start operations as soon as the papers are sorted with the federal government.
According to him, the rice milling chain will employ 10,000 farmers for a start, and each farmer is expected to cultivate 5,000 tons of rice thereby making each of them instant millionaires.
He maintained that Ijebu-Jesa is blessed with sons and daughters who are always ready to identify with, and contribute to community developments.
In same vein, Prince Adesola Adewumi also assured the Elegboro and the people of Ijebu-Jesa that the ‘American’ vision of Late I.K Dairo for Ijebu-Jesa is surely becoming a reality.
He added that his businesses in Ijebu-Jesa have continued to experience blessings from above despite economic situations of the country, this he said, is a confirmation that God is interested in the progress of Egboro land.
He noted that he would not relent in his contributions to the progress and developmental activities in Ijebu-Jesa as he has always do.
The duo gave these assurances during the luncheon organised to celebrate the State of Osun Merit Awards in commemoration of the Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s 365 days in office.
The event had in attendance the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, HRM Oba (Engr.) Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye, Abikehin-Ekun Agunsoye II and his adorable Olori Omolara Agunsoye, the Olodogo of Odogo-Ijesa, HRM Oba Joseph Adebisi Owoeye, Pa Bisi Oderinde, IJUC Global President, Engr. Gbenga Abudiore, Chairman Oriade LG, Hon. Olubunmi Obeisun, Chairman of Ijebu-Jesa Progressive Union, Osogbo, Alhaji Ganiyu Ijila, Engr. Seun Fididusola, and other members of IJPU Osogbo and Ijebu-Jesa community.
Asiwaju Rotimi Obeisun bagged the Award of Excellence as a Foremost Industrialist for his many businesses and investments in Ijebu-Jesa which had caught the attention of the State government.
The business mogul of international repute has array of businesses which include Timsed Hotels and Holiday Centre, Timsed Beverages, Timsed Cinema, Timsed Broadcasting Service (Radio & TV), Timsed Gas Plant, Timsed Civic Centre among others.
Prince Adesola Adewumi is the Project Manager for Osun State Rural Access Mobility Project (O’RAMP).
He bagged the Award of Excellence for Rural InfrastructuralDevelopment for his giant strides in the agency. In just six months of assumption of office, Prince Adewumi’s activities caught the attention of the World Bank which declared Osun State as the best among participating states in Nigeria in the World Bank Rural Access and Mobility Project.
In September 2019, he got a ‘Commendable Performance Letter,’. The World Bank Country Director for Nigeria, Africa Region, Rachid Banmessaoud, noted that Osun had been recognised by World Bank Task Team Leaders as a strong performer in project implementation. Osun Rural Access & Mobility Project is a World Bank and French Development Agency assisted Project.
The Elegboro eulogised the duo for their commitments to the growth of Ijebu-Jesa, he noted that the awards were well deserved as they have both proved beyond an iota of doubt that hard work and dedication is a virtue worth emulating.
He appreciated them for bringing honours to Egboro land and putting the name of the town on global map through their businesses and investments.
The Abikehin-Ekun then used the avenue to call on other citizens of the town to rise to the challenge in bringing cottage industries to the town and also be part of positive history.
