Osun Market Men, Women Vow To Vote APC As First Lady Takes Campaign To Market Places
Wife of the Governor of Osun state, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola, has charged people of the state to come out en masses and cast their vote for President Muhammod Buharu, his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, during coming Feb 16 and March 2 elections.
Mrs Oyetola who stated this during her campaign tour to various market in Osun said the only way to sustain the development goin in the nooks and crannies of Osun and Nigeri at large was for the people to cast their vote for APC
The wife of the Governor who commended the market market men and women for supporting her husband during the last governorship election in the state urged them not to relax until they ensure victory for president Muhammad Buhari and other candidates of the party for National and State Assembly election.
She retairetad that, the nation could not avoid to go back to bad leaders while calling on the people to go back to the streets and educate the people on the need to come massively and cast their vote for all APC candidates
Educating the market men and women on the need to use their index finger to cast their ballots enjoined them not to sell their PVCs in order not to be disenfranchised, adding that they should vote APC whom she said would take the country to the next level of development.
Speaking, the lawmaker representing Irewole, Ayedaade and Isokan federal Constituency Hon. Ayo Omidiran urged individuals to demonstrate the good virtue of Omoluabi befor, during and after the election.
Omidiran however urged the people of the state to shun any activities capable of causing violence in the state, saying electorate should conduct themselves peacefully at their various polling units.
Echoing a similar view, the Iyaloja General, Alhaja Awawu Asindemade said that, all market men and women will mobilize themselves in order to ensure victory for all APC candidates.
She, however, charged market men and women to take to the street in their respective communities and start preaching the gospel of APC to their relatives
The first lady and her entourage had earlier visited the palace of Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRosheed Akanbi who in his welcome said all Yoruba’s who love to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy must ensure they vote for re-election of President Buhari.
Oluwo further stated that, APC led government has done well in the area of developmental projects and sustainability of Awolowo legacies in the country.
CityMirrorNews reports that Mrs Oyetola took campaign to Oluode market,Igbona market and Orisunbare market all in Osogbo, Alamisi market in Ikirun,Oke-fia Osun market Iragbiji, Atakumosa market in Ilesha,Odo -Ori market Iwo Olufi market Gbongan,Oja Obada Ikire and Oja Obada in Ila Orangun among others.
